Alta Badia - a vacation in winter wonderland

Okay guys, this is a huge advertisement for the Alta Badia ski resort and everything they have to offer. I am not even going to try to hide my excitement for this amazing place. I have been coming to South Tyrol for the past 20 years every winter for my skiing vacation and can honestly say that I am so in love with the area and the incredible scenery. This place feels like my second home and the opportunities here are endless.

In cooperation with @alta_badia_official I got to spend the last 5 days with my beloved sister @linda_lime in Colfosco exploring the ski resort.

The amazing social media team there had some fun activities planned for us and we even got to shoot with outdoor photographer @oscarminyo from Barcelona. He took the beautiful pic on the

What I love so much about snowboarding in the Italian Dolomites is that you can go all day without skiing down a slope twice. The ski resort Dolomiti Superski is so huge that you can circle around entire mountain ranges and spend a whole day on the slopes without ever getting bored.

One day we went on the “Sella Ronda” tour which took us 5,5 hours and we visited four different beautiful valleys.

There are also so many different kinds of slopes that make snowboarding here so interesting.

You will find everything from frozen waterfalls next to the ski run, horse drawn carriages that act as a skiing lift, world cup slopes, awesome powder snow and funparks.

The ski card lets you track your performance. We did some pretty intense tours during our stay in South Tyrol and managed to ski 142 slope kilometers. That’s like running more than 3 marathons.

The entire ski area of Dolomiti Superski has 1200 slope kilometers. Crazy right? We managed to use 58 different ski lifts 92 times in total! So you kind of get a picture of how big this resort is.

Also, the cute little Italian villages are just so adorable and we were lucky to have so much snow.

Another big reason why I love to come to Alto Adige for my skiing vacation is the food. Nothing better than a real Italian pizza, a strong Bombardino with extra cream or typical south tyrolean Spinatspätzle.

On almost every mountain chalet you will find haute cuisine chefs preparing delicious dishes for the guests.

One I can really recommend is @rifugiodebioch with the super motivated owner Markus who knows everything about wine and how to make his guests feel comfortable.

I am so happy I could collaborate with the amazing people from @alta_badia_offical for this PR-trip and finally share my love and passion for this skiing resort with you guys!

Honestly, if you ever get the chance to come here –please do! I have seen a lot of different ski resorts in this world and this is by far the best one I know.

Also, I just finished making a little edit of our trip to South Tyrol, so make sure to check out the video below, with some wonderful impressions of this very special part of this world.

See you again next year!
